Most facilities offer a choice of room category and rates with a few offering special stay-pay deals e.g. stay for 5 nights pay for 4 nights. In addition there is a small range of self catering options available as well as home-stays and family run fale stays; so whatever your preference is we are able to provide for you. We recommend that all your stay in Samoa be pre-booked and paid for before you arrive to avoid disappointment and time wasting trying to source accommodation specific to your needs.
There are several excellent clean and comfortable, backpacker style hostels as since camping is not permitted in Samoa. Those on a shoestring budget should consider this alternative.
Pre-booked travelers are usually greeted at the airport by their hosts with a fresh flower lei, a colourful flower garland worn about the neck and one of Samoa’s gracious customs. When making your accommodation booking ensure transfers are included to make arrival at your accommodation stress free.
While most accommodation facilities are found on Upolu, Savaii offers a small selection of accommodation from luxury modern fale-bungalows to budget fales and a smattering of small hotels. There are a small cluster of tiny islands between Upolu and Savaii, served by ferry, that offer family homestay.

SATUIATUA BEACH RESORT - Savaii
A very delightful beach resort offering 6 authentic thatched fales and a western style villa all located on the beach. In addition there are 2 modern solid wall garden fales. Very quiet location, the only resort on this beach
A lovely restaurant and bar nestled under 2 huge banyan trees looks out over the beach and sea. The bay offers excellent snorkeling and swimming at high tide. Very clean and tidy separate bathroom and toilet facility block. A fresh water natural spring-feed bathing pool is nearby. For a modest donation local outrigger canoes can be hired at full tide or a tour to a nearby bat cave. A Fia Fia night with special island buffet is arranged only when the resort is full.

VAISALA HOTEL - Savaii
Established since 1983, Vaisala Hotel is one of the oldest hotels on Savaii. Situated above a gorgeous white sandy beach with excellent swimming and snorkeling opportunities this hotel offers a great escape. Located off the main Circle Island road Vaisala Hotel provides a tranquil setting complete with its own private white sandy beach.
All rooms are sea facing, some elevated with commanding views whilst others at sea level and meters from the sand. 2 large restaurants, one internal and one verandah, offer expansive sea views from the second floor of the main block.
Half day and full day around-the-island tours are arranged and a sunset tour. A small boat provides a lagoon cruise of the district. A fia fia nite is held once a week, and every night a string band plays while guests have dinner.

VIRGIN COVE RESORT - Upolu
Virgin Cove Resort is hidden away at the most beautiful natural beach area behind the deep forest of Saanapu village on the south coast of Upolu island.
They offer 13 traditional handmade "Fales" all just meters from the beach. If preferred 3 x western style bungalow with own toilet and shower are availabe.
If you get tired of snorkeling and looking at fishes in crystal clear water, we will show you how to weave a coconut leaf basket or how to open a coconut. We will also show you how to paddle an outrigger canoe, do Samoan herbal medicine, cooking and much more.
A short walk will take you into Saanapu village where one can take part of daily village life. The Saanapu village has one of the most beautiful mangrove areas in Samoa which can be seen from the nature walk or by renting one of the village canoes.
